Write a Report on Pahela Baishakh Observed in Chittagong Govt. City College
Syful, Staff reporter, Chittagong; 28 March 2018: ‘Pahela Boishakh’ was observed with great enthusiasm at the premises of Govt. City College, Chittagong. A special committee was formed earlier to celebrate the day.
The Principal, Mr. Samsur Rahman Chowdhury, was the chief of this 5-member committee. The committee drew up a number of programs including cultural functions, traditional functions, discussion meetings, and Boishakhi Mela.
The Bangla The year 1425 dawned with great festivity and enthusiasm that day. Students and teachers were found eating ‘Panta-Ilish’, a traditional delicious dish to mark the Bengali tradition there. Students and teachers brought out a colorful procession. Besides, the cultural club of the college organized an attractive function and Boishakhi Mela at college premises. So, everybody enjoyed ‘Pahela Boishakh’ very much.
