I have received a letter from home and known that you have involved in student politics. Student life and political life are two different subjects. The responsibilities of one are to acquire knowledge and the other to pass their life in violence and competition for weapons. Why did you take the second?
Sher-e Bangla Fazlul Huq, Netaji Subash Chandra Bose, Shaheed Sohrawardy, and Sheikh Mujibur Rahman were also students. But in student life their strength was their acquired knowledge. On the other hand, violence and political shelter constitute the strength of today’s students. It is really difficult to imagine where they will lead the student’s community.
Student politics is responsible to a great extent for terrorism of their own interest. General students cannot enjoy the good result of student politics. political in our country has gone into the hands of wrong people who have made it nasty, corrupt, and murderous in order to fulfill their own interest at the cost of the general students. So, you should avoid politics by all means. I expect to know from your next letter that you have avoided politics.
