Dear Tamanna,
Accept my cordial love to you. Hope every member of your family are quite well by the grace of Almighty and Merciful Allah. Now I am writing to you to describe the picnic I have invited you last week. We have gone to Mainamati at Comilla which is about 50 kilometers away from Dhaka. Mainamati is a place of great historical importance. We reached there at about 10 am. After having breakfast we went out for sight-seeing. The Shaaban Bihar and the relics of an old Buddhist civilization charmed us all. We played games and had great fun with a lot of amusements. This year I played the role of assistance cook instead of you and prepared a delicious dish. After having lunch some of us began to sing, some were cracking jokes while others were encouraging them by clapping hands.
My classmate Tania presented a dance and Shah-newaz bhai presented mummery and Azad bhai played a one act play and give us joy and pleasure. In fact, it was a day to remember a long time. But I regret, I missed you.
No more today. More when we meet. Convey my best regards to your parents and love to youngers.
