Write a Report on Freshers Reception Held at Chittagong Govt. College.
Syful, Staff reporter, Chittagong; 28 March 2018: Chittagong Govt. College campus yesterday the students of session 2017-2018 were warmly felicitated. The formal functions started at 10.00 am with the recitation from the holy Quran. The Deputy Controller of Chittagong Education Board was the chief guest while the Principal presided over the program. The freshers were greeted with bunches of flowers. The college authority also distributed new books and other study materials among the meritorious and needy students. The reception program continued up to 12.30 pm. After this, a cultural program was arranged. The singers of local clubs sang songs. Invited guests and guardians also attended the program. The program came to an end at 2: 30 pm. The Chief guest in his encouraging speech advised the students to study attentively.
